摘要
The acute effects of cigarette smoking on coronary vasodilatory capacity and coronary flow reserve have not been directly measured. Nicotine,(1,2) which has vasoconstricting effects and has been demonstrated to reduce hyperemic coronary blood flow velocity, may directly or indirectly cause coronary flow reduction.(3-5) We investigated the acute effect of smoking on coronary flow reserve in terms of the nicotine content of cigarettes.
