摘要
In this paper a grid-connected single-phase PV inverter is employed as a study case in order to investigate the effects of different meteorological conditions on the reliability analysis. The lifetime evaluation of the power modules consisting of the PV inverter is evaluated, taking into account variations on the solar irradiance and ambient temperature but also including the PV panel thermal dynamics (i.e., thermal capacitance). The mission profiles are used as the input and then translated into the thermal loading of the power switch. The Bayerer's model and Palmgren-Miner's rule are used to calculate the life consumption (LC) and B-10 lifetime. The results show that the increase in irradiance generates more energy. However it strongly reduces the system lifetime. Also, the thermal dynamic of the PV panel has important impact on the lifetime prediction.
