摘要：

A good quality structure of PhlCl(2) has been obtained at low temperature; the structure of 1-chloro-2,3,5,6-tetrakis (chloromethyl)-4-methylbenzene, essentially the sole product of chlorination of pentamethyliodobenzene, was also established.
