摘要
The purpose of the chapter is to determine the prospects for the development of new management technologies in the context of digitalization. These technologies include simulation modelling. The authors attribute to the advantages of simulation modelling the ability to describe a complex system at a high level of detail; high adequacy between the physical essence of the process and its model; broader scope of research than analytical modelling; the ability to assess the behaviour of the system, both in stationary and transient dynamic modes; getting more data about the object; no restrictions on the relationship between the parameters of the model and the most attractive ratio of the result and costs in comparison with analytical and physical modelling. The authors argue that the development of digitalization in Russia has made it possible to start actively using IM. The construction industry has made a serious step forward in this sense: a new urban planning approach is being introduced in Russia - the Building Information Model.
