The description of mass periodic crystallization from solutions accompanied by disappearance of the crystal faces in the process of growth

On the basis of the function of the crystal size distribution, the process of mass crystallization was studied for the case when faces grow according to the kinetic law and some faces disappear in the process of the crystal growth. The description of the crystallization process was reduced to a system of equations, which may be solved analytically in some cases that are interesting from the practical standpoint.
