摘要
Magnetic properties of bound magnetic polaron (BMP) in a Reverse Type I Cd1-xMnxTe/CdTe core/shell nanostructure (CSN) are examined via magnetization (M) and spin polaronic shift (Esp). To study the significant outcome of spin coupling interaction, the values of M and E-sp have been evaluated in the Mn doped core region. Mean field theory is employed to perceive the variation of E-sp and M for different magnetic field (B), core radii (Rc) and Mn ion concentrations (x). All these works are carried out for the donor sited at the shell centre. The probability density function (vertical bar psi vertical bar(2)) of the confined off centre donor impurity is also computed. It is reported that both M and E-sp enhances with magnetic field and core size but declines on increasing the composition of Mn ions. Unlike quantum dots, the Reverse Type I CSN is found to execute strong spin exchange interaction even for small values of x at room temperature. This work will give an insight of engaging the reverse type I CSN towards spintronic applications.
