摘要
We report on a detailed comparative study of micro-structure, optical properties, spectroscopy and laser performance of two Lu-based oxide transparent ceramics produced from laser-ablated nanoparticles - Yb:Lu3Al5O22 and Yb:Lu2O3. A compact diode-pumped Yb:Lu3Al5O22 ceramic laser generated 5.65 W at 1031 nm with a slope efficiency of 67%.
