A Research on the Comprehensive Measure of International Competitiveness of Chinese ICT Industry

ICT industry is already the key of current and future world economic development, becomes the focus of world economic competitions, given the current empirical research on the international competitiveness of the ICT industry is extremely scarce, the research on the comprehensive measure of international competitiveness of Chinese ICT industry can make up the shortfall of the theoretical research and is useful for knowing our ICT status in the world form which we can get the way to improve our international competitiveness of ICT industry. To accurately grasp and scientifically evaluate the level of international competitiveness of the ICT, on the basis of well-known scholars choosing the evaluation index on the combination of the ICT industry's own characteristics, this paper has selected RCA index, MS index, TC index and CA index as measure indexes and weight each index and time sequence through entropy method to comprehensively measure international competitiveness of Chinese ICT industry. The results show the international competitiveness of Chinese ICT industry ranks the second place among 15 countries, with a higher level of international competitiveness.
