Research on Cost Control of Construction Enterprise Project Based on the Value Engineering

Project cost control is the key factor for construction enterprises to enhance their market competitiveness and the vital content for engineering project management. At present, most construction enterprises in our country still use the method according to the "bidding document" to control cost by the way of target cost formulation. From the total cost of the project and combined with technology and economy, value engineering method can effectively control costs, and improve enterprise management ability if it is applied in the construction stage. This paper takes infrastructure project in Xinyang as an example, the value engineering method is applied to the project practice and then gets certain practical significance in the cost control of construction project.
