摘要：

With the flourishing of the Internet and mobile communications, WeChat has been widely used in the society. Meanwhile transactions between WeChat users that are brought by its function of social contact gained rapid development. Yet there are controversies about whether Laws on Protection of the rights and interests of consumers shall be applied to WeChat transactions. This essay believes that both buyers and sellers of WeChat transactions possess subject qualification of consumers and operators. Therefore, Laws on Protection of the Rights and Interests of Consumers shall be applicable to better protect the rights and interests of the buyers in WeChat transactions.
