摘要
The Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS) that will be launched by National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) in 2002. Geographical Survey Institute (GSI) is now considering to use ALOS imagery for cartography (especially updating topographical maps), regional observation and disaster monitoring.
