PROJECT MANAGEMENT AS A TOOL FOR INNOVATIVE EDUCATION: NEEDS, POSSIBILITIES, REALITY

摘要
The project management methodologies present important tools for progressive and innovative education. The topic which was once typical for project managers, is implemented in the educational process at present time. There are several reasons for these challenges. As a part of the educational process are constantly growing requirements for training in the practical field. In addition, industry requires from graduates the ability to implement theoretical knowledge in practice as well as the creation of products and services that bring added value to customers and to customer organizations too. An implementation of project management methodology presents approach - the way how it is possible to implement practice-oriented education aimed for design of products and services. In our contribution are presented practical experiences in the use of project management methodology PRINCE2 (TM). The entire experiment was conducted during two years on a sample of 400 students of master level. Using this approach, it is possible to demonstrate the synergy of the expertise. Students got in addition to expertise the knowledge related to the project approach as well as knowledge of soft skills for managerial practice.
