摘要
This study examines how knowledge management infrastructures in Malaysian manufacturing SMEs affect the SMEs' ability to process knowledge, which leads to an increase in organizational efficiency. This study employs a cross-sectional design and a quantitative approach. Complete data was collected from 215 mid-level managers from 58 manufacturing SMEs located in Selangor, Malaysia. Findings of this study indicate that the knowledge infrastructure capability has a significant role in the organizations' ability to process information for better business decisions. In addition, the SMEs' capacity to process knowledge has a significant positive effect on organizational effectiveness. Manufacturing SMEs must therefore develop an infrastructure to acquire knowledge, and then to process this knowledge for organizational effectiveness.
