摘要
Polyacrylate/nano-SiO2 composite leather finishing agent was prepared via emulsion polymerization with butyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, lauryl methacrylate as the main raw materials. The effects of different polymerization processes, lauryl methacrylate on the properties of composite were studied. The results show pre-emulsified emulsion polymerizations obtain a lower gel rate and higher conversion rate. Adding lauryl methacrylate can improve the water resistance, physical and mechanical properties of the composite film. Leather finished with P(Butyl acrylate/Methyl methacrylate/Lauryl methacrylate)/nano-SiO2 composite latex show lower water-vapor permeability, lower water uptake and better resistence to the external force than that of the leather finished with P(Butyl acrylate/Methyl methacrylate)/nano-SiO2 composite latex.
