摘要：

The paper presents the preliminary experiences on the development of remote laboratories at the University of Ancona. The remote laboratories provide a remote access to physical processes by a commercial Web browser. Students use the laboratory for the process identification and control and download results files for further local processing. Software and hardware design solutions are also discussed.
