摘要
A series of glasses whose compositions are expressed by the general formula xCaO. (I-x)SiO2 with x=0.40, 0.50, 0.60 were prepared. The glass structure and devitrification behaviour were studied by Fourier transform infrared absorption analysis, differential thermal analysis and x-ray diffraction analysis. The crystallising phases were identified and a crystallisation mechanism proposed. The CaO richest term of the series exhibits a drastic change in the glass structure and in crystallising phases.
