摘要
It is common enough to identify ultimate destiny with a total indetermination of life, of the lived or of the living. Christian faith in the risen Jesus leads to the recognition that eternal life indeed has a determination, albeit a divine determination. It is a life that God gives, a life where God gives himself finally a life where God gives each one to oneself yet beyond oneself. This paper intends to show this from a spontaneous reading of a few Pauline texts, then from an appeal to a few recent phenomenological approaches to giving. It thus draws a sketch of speculative theology that links ultimate human destiny to the Trinitarian revelation of God, absolute Liberty, absolute Love and absolute Ipseitas. The gift of God to the human person appears contained in the gift of God to God, the divine self-giving.
