摘要：
Cholesteryl carbamates, compounds with potential li quid crystals properties, were prepared by the reactions of cholesteryl chloroformate with diphenyl ether and diphenyl thioether amines, in the presence of the pyridine to acid acceptor. The compounds were characterized by IR and NMR spectra. The texture of the mesophase has been determined with a hot stage equipped polarizing microscope.
