摘要
PRO-TEACH-NET is a German e-learning project to construct an intenet-based learning environment for five partner universities based upon common teaching contents in product development for mechanical engineering. The existing courses are redesigned, transformed into multimedia format and made accessible over the internet. In order to prepare students for working conditions similar to engineering cooperations of international companies, the concept offers project work in virtual teams. For example, an engineering design project will be realised by distributed teams of five students, located at each of the partner universities. The tasks will be shared and the students will develop the product using intenet-based collaboration and communication technologies.
