摘要
This paper presents a comprehensive model for the evaluation of air pollution due to road traffic in urban areas, depending on the geometric and morphological conditions of considered sites. The model is integrated in a Geographic Information System (GIS) that allows the use of spatial coordinates to describe the structure of urban areas, road networks, and pollutants distributions in the atmosphere. The two authors have contributed in equal parts to the work described in this paper.
