摘要：
The economic means of delivery of broadband in rural areas is a problem still awaiting a clear-cut solution. This article considers the pertinent issues for operators and reviews the various implementation options available, backed by ballpark costing figures. Some real-life examples of rural broadband provision are also given, along with advisory guidelines.
