摘要
This paper describes the results of the sociological survey of students of secondary vocational schools in Nizhny Novgorod (N-208 respondents). The research was conducted using a questionnaire survey. The research purpose was to identify labor values and attitudes, factors influencing professional choices and perception of labor as a value among students of secondary vocational schools. The choice of profession, educational institution, place of full-time and part-time work is dictated by the market economy realities. The national basic values are undergoing transformation. Socially useful activities and work for the benefit of society are shifted to the periphery in the youth worldview.
