A nonconventional renormalization group procedure, which involves fixed points and eigenvectors depending on temperature T, is proposed to describe classical-quantum crossover phenomena for quantum systems near criticality. In this new picture, T-dependent critical exponents occur, where T assumes the role of a natural crossover parameter. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
