摘要
Several New Chemical Entities (NCEs) in pharmaceutical research are poorly water-soluble which often results in an insufficient bioavailability from common oral dosage forms. This presents a challenge to develop suitable drug delivery systems for oral use which ensure that the drug has sufficient bioavailability. Several technologies exist for increasing the dissolution rate and/or the solubility. This review series in three parts presents pharmaceutical technologies and points out advantages and disadvantages.
