Is the νμ → νs oscillation solution to the atmospheric neutrino anomaly excluded by the superKamiokande data?

摘要
Recently the SuperKamiokande Collaboration have claimed that their data exclude the nu (mu ->) nu (S), solution to the atmospheric neutrino anomaly at more than 99% C.L. We critically examine this claim. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
