Analysis of one hundred and eighteen expatriates in Botswana and Hong Kong investigated the relationship between psychoticism and the tripartite conceptualisation of cross-cultural adjustment. The evidence supports the hypothesis that psychoticism is of central importance to the experiences and adaptability of expatriates to novel cultures. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd.
