Finite element approach of vibration control using self-sensing piezoelectric actuators

摘要：
The general finite element formulations for piezoelectric sensors and actuators are derived by using the virtual work principle, and are verified mathematically and numerically. The amplitude-frequency and the phase-frequency charactersitics of the closed-loop system are studied in detail, and the control effects owing to the distributions of the segmented piezoelectric patches are also investigated.
