The ordinary Raman scattering (ORS) spectra of virion protein of Granulosis Virus of Cabbage Batterfly Preris rapae (PrGV-VP) and their surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectra adsorbed on the surface of silver colloid particales have been obtained and analysed. The SERS spectra and the ORS spectra of PrGV-VP show their correlations. It was found that the Raman signal in the SERS spectra was enhanced by a factor of about 8 x 10(2).
