摘要
The main purpose of this research is the study of the behaviour of cylindrical shells under different conditions and to obtain theoretical and experimental results that can give clearer insight about their response. Cylindrical shells are found in many practical applications such as air-conditioning ducts and aircraft cabins thus, studying their properties is very important. Through analytical and experimental studies, our aim was to understand the characteristics of sound transmission through cylindrical shells and to compare the results obtained using simple models to make the theoretical predictions of the sound fields in these shells.
