The communication adopted in mining must reach its full extent, so that in the event of a disaster, the rescue of victims is efficient. Thus, the operationalization of an emergency communication system becomes necessary, and the Though-the-Earth (TTE) type of communication is an interesting candidate. Therefore, the focus of this work will be the development of a low noise amplifier that will integrate a receiver for TTE communication, where all blocks were designed using TSMC 0.18 mu m technology. After the design and simulation stage, satisfactory results were found for the main amplifier, the folded cascode, with a gain of 73 dB, input-referred noise of 105.39 nV/root Hz at 1.15 kHz and power consumption of 196 mu W.
