RPA/DWIA description of spin excitations in the continuum by ((p)over-right-arrow,(p)over-right-arrow1) and ((d)over-right-arrow(d)over-right-arrow1) reactions

摘要
Using RPA-generated transition densities, DWIA calculations have been done for 319 MeV proton and 400 MeV deuteron scattering. The predicted cross sections in the continuum are much too small compared to data. Proton spin flip probabilities are well predicted in the continuum but corresponding deuteron quantities are not.
