摘要
This paper investigates the combination of dynamic line rating (DLR) and FACTS to mitigate the network congestions due to wind integration. A novel co-allocation model is proposed to select the optimal transmission lines for the installations of DLR and FACTS. The formulation explicitly considers the forecast uncertainties of DLR and wind power with the adoption of chance constraints to limit the operational uncertainty of the network. To deal with the computational intractability of the original allocation model, a reformulation and decomposition methodology is developed. The case study on the IEEE 118-bus system demonstrates the benefit of the combination of DLR and FACTS in congestion mitigation and the effectiveness of the proposed allocation model.
