摘要
Studies on a new modified ABS type alloy for nickel-metal hydride batteries are presented. The alloy hydriding/ dehydriding behavior is characterized from pressure-composition-temperature curves. The charge/discharge, cycle life characteristics and rate capability of the alloy electrodes are determined. The results show that alloys substituted with Ca exhibit a good charge storage capacity and retain high capacities even at higher rates of discharge.
