Effects of Li2ZnTi3O8 addition on sintering behavior and microwave dielectric properties of the MgTiO3-CaTiO3 ceramic system

摘要
The effects of Li2ZnTi3O8 addition on the sintering behavior, phase formation, microstructure and microwave dielectric properties of 0.94MgTiO(3)-0.06CaTiO(3) ceramics have been investigated. These results suggested that Li2ZnTi3O8 addition not only contributes in decreasing the sintering temperature, but also enhances grain growth. A new microwave dielectric ceramic, 0.94MgTiO(3)-0.06CaTiO(3)-0.015Li(2)ZnTi(3)O(8) sintered at 1220 A degrees C had optimal dielectric properties (epsilon(r) = 20.97, Q x f = 70,832 GHz, tau(f) = 3.45 ppm/A degrees C), which satisfies microwave applications in resonators, filters and antenna substrates.
