摘要
Properties of optical beams such as structural stability, spiral-type propagation and self-imaging can often be understood in terms of a decomposition into Laguerre-Gaussian modes. An explanation in terms of the interplay of the Guoy phases of the constituent modes is given. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
