摘要
In the present research, a methodology has been proposed to enhance productivity at minimal chatter during turning operation on CNC lathe. Vibration signals acquired experimentally using a microphone are processed using merged Wavelet Denoising and Local Mean Decomposition (WDLMD) technique to decompose it into a series of product functions (PFs). Among these product functions the most prominent ones revealing chatter information are selected. Finally, Grey relational analysis (GRA) prediction method has been used to ascertain stable range of turning parameters pertaining to higher metal removal rate. (c) 2021 Elsevier Ltd.
