摘要
The Borovichskii Refractory Works (BRW) has been continuously involved in the advancement of the technology of refractories to improve their physico-chemical properties and their resistance to satisfy the growing requirements of metallurgists. The BRW company supplies periclase-carbon products containing different types of periclase and different quantities of carbon in the form of graphite for steel melting. The company has also developed a series of concrete mixtures of the BORCAST grade to line the working layer of teeming ladles and the reinforcing layer of the tundish ladles. The BORCAST concretes possess a ling life period, a small quantity of water needed for mixing, low shrinkage, high strength and good thermomechanical properties. The company produces a complete range of refractories for continuous steel casting, including ladle nozzles, plates for slide gates, collector nozzles, stopper monoblocks, and mixtures for control and working lining of tundish ladles.
