摘要
With the increase in usage of fossil fuels there is effect on the climatic conditions which further stresses on the wind potential at any location. This paper mainly focuses on the various factors that affects the wind velocity and estimate the amount of power generated at any location. A statistical analysis is made for the data collected over on particular location and calculated the mean wind velocity over the temperature throughout the years to understand the effect of temperature on wind velocity. It is also clear to note that the wind blows at the coastal areas with better mean velocity but due to the effect of global warming the mean velocity reduces and have effect on net power generation.
