摘要
Preservation of biological diversity is one of priority tasks of the present time. Monitoring of the population during the migration from Europe and nesting on the coast of the Arctic Ocean plays an important role in the protection of European geese population. Traditionally, the main methods of geese population monitoring are those of route and area recording. The authors propose to study geese populations by using of unmanned aerial vehicles with cameras. Aerial photography using digital photogrammetric systems allows obtaining images of acceptable quality ensuring biologists to count a number in the breeding or migration areas.
