Neutron diffraction studies of magnetic ordering in cubic ErAuSn

摘要
Dependent on sample preparation ErAuSn crystallizes in an either cubic or hexagonal structure. The magnetic structure of polycrystalline cubic ErAuSn has been investigated by neutron diffraction between 40 mK and 3.6 K. The magnetic propagation Vector was found to be k = [1/2, 1/2, 1/2] and the Neel temperature was determined to be 1.3(2) K. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
