摘要
In this paper, the phase transition of anatase to rutile by X-ray powder diffractometry and thermal analysis was studied, and the influence of chromium oxide and nickel oxide additives on this phase transformation. The anatase-rutile conversion was investigated by heating titanium dioxide in the temperature range from 20 degrees C to 1100 degrees C. As a result, it was established that the chromium and nickel oxides additions lower the onset temperature of the phase transformation and accelerate it. The observed regularities can be explained with the accepting the assumption of the martensitic mechanism of the anatase-rutile phase transformation.
