STRATEGY FOR COUNTERACTING THE ATTACKS DIRECTED TOWARDS ROMANIA'S IMAGE

There are strategies and coordinated actions for achieving a goal. In the field of national security one can mention the National Security Strategy, National Defence Strategy, National Anticorruption Strategy, Romania's Strategy on preventing and counteracting terrorism and many others. As we are concerned with this field, essential in the life of the Romanian state, we intend to call your attention and to demand peremptorily and with priority, the working out of the Strategy for counteracting the attacks directed towards Romania's image. Moreover, we suggest projecting this strategy into the present specific security environment. Romania is situated in an international and regional environment where it has to firmly defend and promote its political, image, financial, economic and social interests, its access to regional programs and to financial resources for restructure and development. The first objective of this attempt would be to establish the contribution of the different structures existing in the Romanian society and especially of those we are working in, to the drawing up and implementation of this strategy.
