Knowledge-based defuzzification

We suggest a new approach to the problem of defuzzification. This approach is a knowledge-based approach in that it uses knowledge in terms of combinability function to help to more intelligently guide the defuzzification process. This approach makes use of a view of the defuzzification process as a kind of clustering problem and uses the basic idea used in the mountain clustering method.
