Shaping attitude of students toward social sciences and humanities

摘要
A mechanism of shaping positive attitude of students. toward social and himanitarian disciplines raises an issue of heightening the level of teaching social and humanitarian disciplines (including sociology) at institutions of higher learning. The article is built on the data obtained by the author via questionnaires, as well as by theoretical conceptualization of the issues found out. Significant factors of a reform in the reaching process. of the disciplines in question are:suggested such as raising their overall societal standing among the public, and at schools of all levels, a proper financing personnel and organizational support etc. Practical recommendations are formulated.
