摘要
To cultivate the innovative talents is an important mission of the university education. The curriculum system based on knowledge convergent is an important means to cultivate the innovation ability. The liberal education curriculum is the effective carrier of knowledge convergent education. The past liberal education courses are mostly divided by the discipline classification, in which one teacher takes charge for one course. Even if a student selects courses in different disciplines, he is hard to converge on the knowledge among different disciplines because of lacking the integration of thinking. In order to overcome this shortcoming, a new liberal education curriculum model will be developed, in which the courses are divided according to the subject and the collaboration of several teachers is critical in the teaching. When the teacher is insufficient, we also can use excellent open online courses as supplement. The purpose of the new liberal education curriculum model is to achieve the knowledge convergent of different disciplines under the same topic.
