摘要：

The hottest concepts in management today are the idea of :frugal innovation" and "green marketing" Given the simultaneous growth of sustainability movement, it will be no surprise that companies start combining the concepts leading to "Frugreen Innovation". Frugreen Innovation can be an answer to Indian SMEs which are continuously under pressure to improve and upgrade their products and technologies which are environmental friendly, cost effective and sustainable. The paper will contribute the new concept of "Frugreen Innovation" to the Management literature. It will further provide an Innovative Business Model to Indian SMEs for their long term sustainability, which will involve reinvention of their "Value Proposition" and "Operating Model" to deliver value in a new way.
