Seabottom topography using model based on the radiative transfer equation

摘要
We study the kinetic model of sonar signal propagation and deduce a solution for received signal in a single-scattering approximation, a narrow-beam radiation pattern and a finite duration source. We study an explicit solution of an inverse problem obtained by a pulsed source approximation. We assess influence of seabottom reconstruction depending on the pulse duration in simulations. Numerical experiments demonstrate a degradation of image accuracy and objects defocusing depending on growth of a pulse duration.
