摘要：

Concurrent Engineering (CE) is a systematic methodology based on multi-disciplinary teams that collaborate in parallel processing activities to continuously consider all product, process, and plant related aspects from their every individual domain perspectives. This paper reviews the main developments of concurrent process engineering and highlights its contribution to integrated decision making.
