State observers for nonlinear dynamic systems

摘要：
This note considers the problem of observer design for a class of nonlinear system. A new state observer design methodology for linear time-varying systems is presents. Furthermore, we show that the same methodology can be extended to a class of nonlinear systems. Some sufficient conditions are obtained, which could guarantee the error of state estimation to converge to zero asymptotically. An example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.
