The research about the system framework of WebGIS based on J2EE

摘要
With the development of Internet technology, WebGIS is becoming the developing hotpot for GIS Geographical Information System (GIS) is an information system, which stores analyzes and visually express spatial data. WebGIS can provide not only simple text and data, but also graphics and images to more and more people. WebGIS is the outcome of Internet development and information sharing. However, many a traditional GIS software adopts file-based data organization, which only publishes less GIS data. The technology of publishing mass vector and image database would be restricted. It is necessary to take how to properly syncretize such technologies as Web, software engineering, programming languages, database and GIS functions into account and to consider how to provide a simple and convenient application mode to client. Java devised by Sun Company and designed for network programming at the very start have much superiority. In this paper we first discuss the model about the data-memory, organization and the data publishing, research the design model and then realize the WebGIS model based on J2EE. The work principle, merits, demerits and the realizing method of the constituents of WebGIS, i.e. the structure of three layers are analyzed. Finally the system and structure of Java platform-based WebGIS are discussed. In practice, J2EE-based WebGIS can quicken response speed to users' request and the client server becomes very powerfully intelligentized. In this way, it will reduce the load of a server and achieve the balance and realize the seamless connecting.
